  I used to love this quirky little local cafe until a new owner took over. I had the most incredibly upsetting experience that I can only put down to the new owner not being particularly stable. I went in with my friend and my 2 year old daughter and mentioned to the waiter that the last time I had been in I had ordered a milkshake that had never arrived. I had forgotten about the missing milkshake until later that day. I asked whether it was possible to redeem the milkshake. The owner woman then came bustling over and started to tell me off for not mentioning the milkshake on the day I was in and ordered it. I attempted to explain to her that I had forgotten but she continued her rant. My friend and I felt so affronted by her aggressive and rude manner that we left the cafe. I said to the owner on the way out that this was an upsetting, rude and the worst customer experience I had ever experienced. The owner then proceeded to follow me out the cafe and ask whether I always ask for "free stuff", and whether I have problems at home! I was gobsmacked!! She also stated that she has excellent customer service skills. I actually feel sorry for someone so quick to attack and presume the worst in people.
